20-Year Guarantee
For those opting for the Recommended ultimate assurance, our 20-year guarantee comes into play. With a groundwork comprising a 150mm compacted layer of G7 and a 150mm stabilised layer of G5, compacted under paving. Variations may occur due to the clay content in the soil.
Guarantee waived
Regrettably no guarantee is offered to clients who choose to prepare and compact the groundwork themselves, with Roux Plaveimeesters providing only the labor to lay bricks.

10-Year Guarantee
Our 10 Year Guarantee is when ground work is completed with a 150mm compacted layer of G7 under paving. Please note that variations may occur due to the clay content in the soil.

Photo 1 & 2 - Untreated Paving These photos depict the consequences of inadequate groundwork preparation. Without proper leveling and compaction, paving sags and uneven surfaces are inevitable, leading to unsightly and potentially hazardous conditions.
Photo 3 - Excavation The first crucial step in our groundwork process involves excavation. By carefully removing debris and uneven surfaces, we create a solid foundation for your paving project.
Photo 4 - Levelling Following excavation, our expert team meticulously levels the surface to ensure uniformity and stability. This step is essential in preventing uneven settling and surface irregularities.
Photo 5 - Compaction Once levelled, the surface undergoes thorough compaction to enhance stability and load-bearing capacity. Our state-of-the-art equipment ensures optimal compaction, minimising the risk of future settlement and damage.
Photo 6 - Gravel Layer To further fortify the base, we add a layer of gravel, approximately 175mm thick. This additional reinforcement enhances drainage and provides a stable foundation for the paving materials.
